HabitFlow - Privacy Policy

Introduction

HabitFlow is an iPhone and iPad app built to help you build lasting daily routines. Your home screen shows today’s habits, progress rings, and streaks so you always know where you stand. We designed HabitFlow with privacy as a core principle — all your personal habit tracking data is meant to stay personal.

This policy explains how we handle data when you use HabitFlow, and outlines your rights over your personal information.

Data Storage & Collection

All your data stays locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not operate cloud servers that store your personal content, and we can never access any of the information you create in HabitFlow.

All data created within the app remains under your full control, including:

Custom habits you create, including names, optional notes, colors, and icons
Repeat schedules, reminder settings, and your organization preferences (search filters, sorting, archived habits)
All tracking history: daily progress, weekly/monthly charts, completion rates, streaks, and heatmap calendar data
App settings including theme preferences (light, dark, system) and notification options

None of this data is ever automatically transmitted to our team or any external party. We do not collect any personal identifiable information from you when you use HabitFlow.

Third-Party Services

As of the effective date of this policy, HabitFlow does not integrate any third-party tracking, analytics, advertising, or data collection tools into the app. We do not share any user data with third parties, as we never have access to your data in the first place.

If we add optional cloud sync or other third-party features in future app updates, we will update this policy and clearly notify you of any changes to data handling practices before the features go live.

Your Control Over Your Data

Since all data lives on your own device, you retain full ownership and control at all times:

You can edit, delete, or archive any habit or historical data directly in the app at any time
Deleting the HabitFlow app from your device will permanently remove all your habit data from your device
You can create a full backup or export of your entire habit history at any time through the app settings

Changes To This Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes to app features or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-app announcement and update the effective date posted at the top of this policy.

We encourage you to review this policy occasionally to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.
